Effective Date: September 12, 2025
The privacy of our guests is a matter of the utmost importance at VelvetLounge. This policy describes, with the transparency befitting our establishment, how we handle the personal details our guests may share with us.
During your visit, our discreet attendants may observe: the nature of your device and the window through which you arrived; how long your performance lasts and which scenes you linger over; your personal preferences for lighting and arrangement.
All observations are used solely to maintain a smooth and enjoyable performance — resolving technical difficulties backstage, improving the program, and preparing future productions. Personal details are never shared with other establishments for commercial purposes.
Essential tokens (session cookies) allow us to maintain the continuity of your visit. Optional programme notes (analytics cookies) help us understand which acts receive the most applause. Optional tokens may be refused at the door without affecting your admission.
Certain technical aspects of the production are managed by trusted crew members bound by confidentiality agreements consistent with our values.
Performance logs are archived for no more than six months before being retired. Archives are destroyed immediately upon request.
Guests may request a review of their personal programme notes, ask for corrections, or request complete archival destruction through our front-of-house team.
As productions evolve, so may this policy. We shall announce significant revisions with the fanfare they deserve.
